An off-duty Waukesha County Sheriff's employee who works at the county jail told police he caught a suspicious juvenile who he believes has been breaking into houses in the neighborhood on the 1900 block of Jan Ave.

According to the report, the man managed to catch the young man and place him in handcuffs after he was observed by the man trying to break into his parent's residence a few minutes prior to calling police.

Waukesha police were dispatched to the apartments on the 1900 block of Madera Street at just after 2 a.m. Saturday on a report that a woman was aggressively pounding on doors and that she had a knife.

When police arrived, they recorded that the suspect was about five-foot-four, in her late teens or early 20s wearing dark clothing.
The suspects were gone upon the arrival of police.
Property damage from when the woman tried to kick various doors down would be the responsibility of the landlord to report.
