A school bus driver restrained an unruly 5th grader who was physical with other kids. A 90-year-old Waukesha was the target of phone fraud.

Bus Driver Restrains Unruly 5th Grader

Waukesha police were dispatched to the intersection of Coventry Lane and Woodbridge Lane just before 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of juvenile trouble.
Reports indicated that the driver of a school bus was holding onto a fifth-grade student who was reportedly being physical with other students. The report stated that the driver was physically restraining the student until police could arrived.
According to reports, the bus station called police back, saying the student's parents came to take custody of their son.

90-Year-Old A Victim of Phone Fraudsters

The daughter of a 90-year-old Waukesha man had to lock his bank accounts after a telephone scammer posing as the "Publisher's Clearing House" attempted to get a 90-year-old Waukesha man to deliver them a large sum of money through Walmart gift cards.
According to the report, the scammers also said the man won a million dollars, but needed his account number.
Waukesha police responded to the residence on the 300 block of N. West Ave. just after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on the call.
