Bus Fight Lands Woman in Jail

Waukesha police responded to the Metro Transit Center on the 200 block of E. St. Paul Ave. on a report of a fight that took place between two women on a city bus.
According to the report, a woman was punched in the face on the Route 1 bus.
Four squads responded to the transit center, where a female was taken into custody just after 5 p.m.

Apartment Residents Force Unknown Man Out

Waukesha police were called to an apartment on the 1000 block of Baxter St. late Sunday evening on a report of a fight.

According to the police report, the 911 caller said that a male came in through the back door of the unit, and was looking for a female but would not give her name, when confronted by one of the residents.

According to police, the person who called stated they tried to help the man, but he simply sat down on the stairs.

Residents asked the man to leave but he refused. One of the apartment residents attempted to physically pull him out the door, but the man fought back, pushing the resident to the ground. A second person entered the fray, and was successful in getting the man to exit the building without further incident.
