Car Break-Ins Reported On North St.: Report

Reports stated that the witness saw the suspects wearing masks over their faces as they entered and reportedly damaged multiple vehicles.

WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha responded to the 300 block of W. North St. just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday on a report of multiple vehicle break-ins.

According to police reports, a person called police saying that they witnessed two men breaking into vehicles in the parking lot, and could see them looking into vehicles using flashlights.

Reports stated that the witness saw the suspects wearing masks over their faces as they entered and reportedly damaged multiple vehicles.

The witness said the suspects appeared to be men wearing hooded sweatshirts and masks. When the witness went out onto the patio, he reported that the suspects ran off after entering six different vehicles with flashlights.

According to reports police set up a perimeter at St. Paul, Fuller and Wisconsin. By just after 2:30 p.m., police reports indicated that at least one person had been taken into custody.
