Waukesha police responded to the 1500 block of Summit Ave. on a report of a burglary in progress.
According to reports, officers responded to the area just before 11:30 p.m. Sunday on a report that a male wearing a hoodie and a rain jacket was trying to get into the front door.

When police arrived, they determined that the exterior doors on the porch are locked and there were no signs of forced entry.
When police talked with the home owner, the home owner stated that it may have been her grandson trying to gain in.

Car Fully Engulfed in Flames on Josephine
Waukesha police responded to the 1100 block of Josephine Street just before 10 p.m. Sunday on a report of a car fully engulfed in fire.
The fire department reported that the vehicle fire had been knocked down within several minutes.
A fire investigator was called to the scene, and the car was ultimately towed from the residence.
