Carroll University will host Waukesha mayoral forum

On Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, Carroll University will host a forum with the four candidates for the City of Waukesha mayor. The event will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Stackner Ballroom of the Campus Center, 101 N. East Ave., Waukesha. It is free and open to the public.

The candidates are:

·         Shawn Reilly, partner at Hippenmeyer, Reilly, Moodie & Blum, S.C.

·         Jeff Scrima, incumbent Mayor

·         Terry Thieme, Alderman for District 1 and Common Council President

·         Mike Volpano, a company trainer for a financial market research company

This event is co-sponsored by Carroll University and The Freeman. Matthew R. Rosek, a partner at McCoy Leavitt Laskey LLC, will emcee, and Sarah Pryor, a Freeman reporter, will moderate.

The forum will begin with prepared questions to the candidates on topics of interest. Questions drafted by the audience will follow.

The primary election is Tuesday, Feb. 18.
