Chevy vs. Pole on Madison Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Madison St. and Grandview Blvd. on a report that the driver of a red Chevy SUV struck a pole on Madison St. According to the report, the accident happened just after 8 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicated the man opened his door, fell out of the vehicle and seemed okay after the accident. We Energies was advised of the downed pole, and the man's vehicle which was damaged in the collision, was towed from the scene. ----- 11-Year-Old Bicyclist Hit By Car Waukesha police responded to the intersection of S. East Ave. and E. Sunset Dr. just before 4 p.m. Tuesday on a report that an 11-year-old boy riding a bicycle collided with a car. According to the police report, the boy complained of leg pain as a result of the accident and was transported to the emergency room.
