Child Sex Offender to be Released in Waukesha
Christopher G. O'Bright's convictions were in 2000 and 2003 for sexual assault of a child.

WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Waukesha Police Department have been working with the Department of Corrections-Probation and Parole Office regarding the anticipated release of Christopher G. O'Bright to the community.
O’Bright will be released on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 and will not have a permanent address. O’Bright will be required to complete a face-to- face registration at the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department and City of Waukesha Police Department. O’Bright will be a lifetime sex offender registrant and also on GPS monitoring. If he violates the terms of his lifetime registry or GPS conditions, he will be taken into custody.
O’Bright’s convictions were in 2000 and 2003 for sexual assault of a child. Both offenses occurred within the confines of an institutional facility.

Authorities want to make sure that the community remains vigilant and ensure they fully understand the seriousness of this offender, especially since he will not have permanent housing upon release. He will be required to make regular contact with his assigned agent, advising them of his locations. This will also be verified through the use of GPS.
He will be required to meet with Wisconsin Department of Corrections extensively upon his release.
