Construction Woes Heat Up Between Woman, Worker

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Blackstone Ave. and Arcadian Ave. just after 7:30 a.m. Wednesday on a report of disorderly conduct.

According to police reports, a confrontation between a female motorist and a male construction worker brewed up due to a motorist reportedly speeding through a construction zone.

Reports indicated that the worker climbed up onto the hood of the car during the dispute as both parties engaged in an animated discussion, involving yelling by both sides.

When police responded to the scene, the worker claimed the woman tried to run her over. Police investigated the man's claim, and ultimately advised both on their unruly behavior.

According to the report, both the man and woman were equally at fault during the incident. After that, neither party wished a criminal complaint.
