Cops Called On Helpful Waukesha Mom

WAUKESHA, WI — Parenting is a labor of love - but it usually doesn't mean having the police called on you.

Unfortunately for one Waukesha mom, that was the case Saturday evening.

According to Waukesha police reports, several officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Brasted Place just before 9:30 p.m. Saturday on a report of a burglary in progress.

According to reports, the person who called police observed people taking items from a residence and loading them into a vehicle.

When police arrived, they learned that a mother was cleaning her daughter's house, and also taking care of yardwork on the property.

Officers spoke to the daugher on the phone (she was not on-scene) and explanined what had happened. The misunderstanding was also explained to everyone on-scene and were shortly on their way.
