Credit Card Thief Caught on Camera Operating in Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI — A man implicated in an Oconomowoc credit card theft case was caught on camera using the stolen card throughout Waukesha. Police are asking for the public's help in catching the man.

On April 12, 2017, at about 7:47 a.m., following the theft of a woman's purse from a vehicle parked outside of the Planet Fitness Gym, 1412 Summit Avenue, Oconomowoc, two individuals were captured on surveillance video which was obtained at an BMO Bank ATM, 1580 E. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha.

The suspect shown in the image above was able to access the victim's Discover credit card account and rest the pin number and they were then able to make a withdrawal of funds from the victim's account.

The suspect then showed up at another location at about 8:01 a.m., where he was observed at the McDonald's Restaurant, 2310 Kossow Road, Waukesha.

Police say he and another individual were observed at the McDonald's as they made a food purchase. There was additional security video located of the subjects from a nearby store, where they arrived and left in a silver or gray colored 4 door sedan vehicle.

They were at it again at about 11:27 a.m.,when there was one last attempt to use the victim's stolen card to make a withdrawal of $200 withdrawal from a bank or ATM located in Chicago,Illinois.

The only information available for this location was this occurred at an ATM located at the "West Loop- Halsted W" (Chicago, Il.)
