Curet Was Only Out For Days Before Assaulting Same Woman: Police
Investigators say Luis Curet, 18, would often force a 27-year-old woman to have unwanted sex in front of her 4-year-old daughter.

WAUKESHA, WI — Earlier, Patch.com reported that Luis Curet was arrested by Waukesha police after footprints in the snow led officers to the spot where he was hiding after an alleged assault.
Patch has learned more about that assault, and the charges the 18-year-old Milwaukee man now faces as a result of that incident.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Waukesha County, Curet is accused of repeatedly intimidating and abusing a 27-year-old Waukesha woman. Curet had only been released several days prior to his latest incident in which he returned to the same woman's apartment and assaulted her again.

According to online court documents, Curet faces more than 65 years behind bars if he is convicted of the charges against him, including: two counts of second-degree sexual assault, strangulations, substantial battery, intimidating a victim, two counts of battery to a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest and four counts of contacting a victim following a court order.
According to the complaint, Curet went back to the woman's Waukesha apartment just days after he was released from prison. The complaint stated that Curet assaulted the woman by punching her, dragging her by the hair, forcing her to have sex, choking her and restraining her when she tried to resist.

Reports indicated that police managed to follow fresh footprints in the snow up to an address on Maple that listed to Curet's relative. Police noted that Curet's footprints led right up to the house's back door.
According to police, police made contact with Curet, when a struggled ensued between him and his arresting officers. A taser was deployed and he was then taken into custody just after 5 a.m. According to court documents, Curet has prior convictions for disorderly conduct and resisting an officer earlier in 2017.
The complaint stated that curet fled to a relative's apartment, after the alleged assault where he was later arrested by police. He is now being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
