Dad's Prank on Daughter Prompts Police Response

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha dad's prank went too far Friday night, after the daughter got home around midnight, only to find nobody at home and a strange man on the phone.
Waukesha police responded to the 3600 block of Rivers Crossing Drive just after midnight Saturday after a parent's prank scared their daughter so much, she called police.
According to police reports, a boy was on the phone with his 19-year-old sister when she kept getting calls from an unknown male asking "where are your parents, little girl?"

According to the report, the 19-year-old had just come home to find all the lights in the house on, and nobody inside.
While on the phone with her brother, she received numerous phone calls from an unknown number asking where her father was. She reportedly became scared, screamed and called police.

When police investigated, they learned that the father was, in fact, next door pranking her.
