Daycare Put On Lockdown Due To Phony Knife Call: Report
Waukesha police responded to an apartment complex on the 1600 block of Summit Ave. on a report of a man with a knife just after 2 p.m.

WAUKESHA, WI — A local daycare center was on lockdown Wednesday afternoon after a report of a disturbance in the area.
Waukesha police responded to an apartment complex on the 1600 block of Summit Ave. on a report of a man with a knife just after 2 p.m.
Police told Waukesha Patch.com that a person called police, reporting that a man was walking around with a knife making statements that he wanted to harm himself. Officers located him at a Waukesha Starbucks, and determined that he did not say he had a knife and had no intentions of harming himself.
Police said that the man was meeting with someone and was scared off when the person he was supposed to meet with was with other people. No citations were issued or arrests made, according to reports.
