WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — Authorities in Waukesha County say a 46 -year-old man was found deceased in the waters of Okauchee Lake Tuesday night. Authorities said the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department Search and Recovery Dive Team was called to the area on Tuesday night. Waukesha County Sheriff Captain Marc Moonen, deputies ultimately responded to home on Highway N in the Town of Merton to check on the well-being of a resident who lived on the waterfront of Lake Okauchee. Moonen said they found the owner of the property deceased and in shallow water just offshore of his Lake Okauchee property. "Although this incident remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office, at this time no foul play is believed to be involved in the death," Moonen said in a statement to Patch.
