Domestic Violence Arrest Made On Crest Lane: Report

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha police responded to the 2600 block of Crest Lane just before 5 a.m. on Sep. 16 on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police reports, a man, later identified by authorities as Danny M. Barnes, became involved in a physical altercation, and struck a woman in the residence.

Reports stated that the woman called police, and managed to escape the house to police stationed outside the residence.

Police said that Barnes was later arrested and transported to the Waukesha County Jail on suspicion of domestic abuse-related battery, contact after a domestic abuse arrest and a probation violation.
