Drug Take Back Day This Weekend In Waukesha County

According to officials, the drug take back day is being hosted to help prevent prescription painkiller abuse in the area.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — On Saturday, April 28, Waukesha County residents are free to bring their left over medication and prescription drugs to several locations in the county during a spring Drug Take Back Day.

According to officials, the drug take back day is being hosted to help prevent prescription painkiller abuse in the area.

Collectors will be accepting the following items: prescription medication, over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, non=aerosol sprays, inhalers, creams, vials and pet medications.

Please do not bring: needles, mercury thermometers, personal care products and hazardous waste.

Hours are from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a variety of locations in the county, unless specified below:
