Car Struck Pole on Summit

A man was transported to the emergency room on Tuesday afternoon after the vehicle he was driving struck a light pole on Summit Ave. just before 7 p.m. on Monday.
According to police reports, the driver of a gray Toyota Celica struck a pole and the male driver was reportedly bleeding from his forehead upon the arrival of first responders.
He was transported to the emergency room and his vehicle was towed from the scene.

Drunk Driver Hits Car, Mailbox, Garbage Can

Waukesha police responded to a report of a drunk driver just after 3:30 p.m. Monday after a motorist was struck by the driver and continued on his way.
According to police reports, police responded to the intersection of W. St. Paul Ave. and W. Sunset Dr. on a report of a possible OWI case.
The vehicle was described as an older red sedan that was "smashed up."
According to the motorist who called the incident in to police, she was struck by the drunk driver, who was nearly struck a second vehicle in addition to hitting a mailbox and a garbage can.
The vehicle finally pulled into the Speedway parking lot where the driver was taken into custody on suspicion of operating while intoxicated. Their vehicle was towed from the scene.
