Drunk Driver Hits Pole On S. East Ave.: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police were called to the 1300 block of S. East Ave. on a report of an accident just after 8 p.m. on Jan. 23.

Waukesha police told Patch.com that the driver of a red vehicle struck a pole utility pole, and that the operator of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.

According to police reports, the man was subjected to field sobriety tests, and was subsequently arrested and cited for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
