Drunk Waukesha Man Wanted to Drink 54 Drinks on 54th Birthday

WAUKESHA, WI — An ill-advised drinking binge went awry late Saturday, resulting in police being called.

Waukesha police were called to an apartment on the 1000 block of Delafield St. on a report of an intoxicated person.

According to the police report, a woman called 911 to report that her boyfriend broke some angel wings that the woman gave to her mother before she died.

When police arrived at the apartment, officers observed that the woman and her boyfriend were both "extremely drunk." It was at that time that the boyfriend stated he wanted to drink 54 drinks on his 54th birthday.

It was not known, according to the report, how far along the boyfriend was on his birthday binge at the time of the police call.

When police investigated whether the boyfriend broke anything, they could find no evidence to support the woman's claim.

The boyfriend and his son reportedly left the apartment for the evening to spend the night at a hotel.
