Drunk Woman Jumps from Moving Car, Calls Police from Bathroom

A "highly intoxicated" woman jumped from a moving car, walked home and called police from the bathroom. Here's why:

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to an apartment on the 3000 block of MacArthur Road just before 2:30 a.m. Sunday on a report of a domestic disturbance.

According to police reports, a man and his wife were arguing on their way home because the man did not want to stop at a restaurant for her.

The wife was extremely intoxicated and reportedly opened the door to the moving vehicle and jumped out of it.

Police reports indicate the husband attempted to get her back in the car, but she ended up walking away.

The husband let the wife walk home because he thought it would help her "sober up."

But when the wife returned home, police reports indicate she was extremely upset and locked herself in the bathroom.

Police were reportedly called by the wife while she was locked in the bathroom because she wanted officers to help her get to bed.

Police were advised by the husband that he would stay at a hotel for the night so the wife could get a night's sleep.
