Eagles Club Partier Arrested For OWI After Hit-And-Run: Police
Waukesha police said a drunk driver ran over a fire hydrant after leaving the Eagles Club, and then later walked back into the club.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the 600 block of N. Grandview Blvd. on a report of a hit-and-run accident just before 10 p.m. Christmas night.
According to police reports, a witness called the police, stating that a dark-colored Dodge Durango pulled out of the Eagles Club, accelerated, lost control and struck a nearby fire hydrant, shearing it off its base.
Reports stated the driver then backed up, then drove off and was last seen heading south on Summit.

According to reports, about 20 minutes later, the man reportedly walked back to the Eagles Club, looked at the fire hydrant damage and then walked back into the club.
Waukesha police went out to the location and took the man into custody on suspicion of drunk driving. His vehicle was towed from the scene, and the man was later released to a responsible party.
