Elderly Waukesha Woman Hit By Car: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — An elderly woman is recovering after police say she was struck by a car Thursday night on N. Grand Ave.

According to Waukesha police call logs, officers responded to the 400 block of N. Grand Ave. just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday on a report that an elderly woman had been hit by a car.

When police arrived, they learned that a 74-year-old woman was out walking her dogs when she was struck by a passing vehicle. Police said she suffered a broken ankle.

Police also said the person driving the striking vehicle remained on-scene following the crash and cooperated with police.
