Erratic Driver Arrested, Dog Recovered By HAWS

According to police reports, the driver was seen running red lights, driving into oncoming traffic, and driving on the shoulder of the road.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police took the driver of a green Ford Tempo into custody Wednesday afternoon on a drug charge after the driver was reportedly seen driving erratically through the area.

According to police reports, the driver was seen running red lights, driving into oncoming traffic, and driving on the shoulder of the road. Additionally, the driver was reported to police for nearly striking a guard rail and another vehicle.

The driver was stopped along Highway 59 and Holliday Hill. The man was taken into custody and the vehicle was towed from the scene. The Waukesha Humane Society also responded to the scene to recover a large dog that was in the cabin of the car, police reports stated.
