Carroll University Students Create Oppression Museum

A number of Carroll University student organizations have worked together to create an Oppression Museum.  The exhibit highlights the oppression faced by African Americans, Latinos, LGBT, women, individuals with mental illness and members of various religions.  A series of rooms will greet visitors, the walls of each covered in stories, pictures, phrases and multimedia examples of the oppression of the past and present.  The final room features a peace wall and reflection area.  Representatives from the organizations behind the museum will be available during exhibit hours.
