Civic Broadway Singers Perform at Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts

If you love Broadway musicals, you’re in for a real treat this Sunday, August 21st!  The Civic Broadway Singers consist of up to 30 talented vocalists who perform throughout Waukesha County doing what they love: singing Broadway hits!  Established in 1999 by the Waukesha Civic Theatre, this dynamic group of singers meets to rehearse only one night per month and performs twelve months of the year.  Their music will bring back memories from famous musicals including “The Sound of Music”, “Chicago”, “South Pacific” and more!  Lake Country resident Abby Lorenz both directs and accompanies the Civic Broadway Singers, and many members are veteran actors and actresses often seen on stage in local community theatres.  Throughout the years the Civic Broadway Singers have performed at nearly one hundred special events including corporate Grand Openings, company picnics, festivals, art fairs, non-profit organizations, church functions, birthday parties, holiday celebrations and more!  All donations directly benefit the Waukesha Civic Theatre. Feel free to sing along to all of your favorite Broadway songs! You won’t want to miss the Civic Broadway Singers as they take the Main Stage at the Oconomowoc Festival of the Arts at Fowler Park in Oconomowoc.
