Crazy Horse, Custer and the Great Sioux War
Instructor, Donald Valentino
Are you a fan of the History Channel? History lovers will discover who’s “Last Stand” it was at Little Bighorn—Custer’s or the Sioux nation! We will look at the battle of “Little Big Horn” on June 25, 1876, as well as the major personalities involved and the struggle between the two civilizations which led to 268 troopers’ deaths of the 7th Calvary. Though no one will know exactly what Custer was thinking as he led his men along the bluffs above the Little Bighorn this class will review new scholarship based on an archeological examination of the battlefield and shed more light on the battle itself. .8 CEU
