UW-Waukesha Assistant Professor Nancy L. Van Brunt will present a program of German Lieder, an art form in which ideas suggested by poetry are embodied in the setting of those words for voice and piano. Selections by composers including Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann and Richard Strauss will be sung in German. Nancy will be accompanied on piano by her daughter, Jennifer L. Van Brunt.
