WAUKESHA - You'll find food for thought and inspiration
in “The Lying Game: Freeing Your Inner Fiction Writer” with author Paul McComas
at AllWriters’ Workplace & Workshop! Placing a particular emphasis on
characterization, setting, and "writing in the moment," McComas leads
a lively conversation about several key narrative themes, directs attendees
through fun and fruitful writing exercises, details the techniques that best
bring the human condition to light and to life, and performs excerpts from his
own work -- all while exploring "fiction writing as discovery
process" and "how literary 'lies' can tell greater truths."
McComas also provides tips about how you can send your live readings through
the roof. Plenty of time will be set aside for questions and a
"wide-open" discussion.
