Une Grande Finale: from France to Spain

The brilliant and dashing young Spaniard Jose Franch Ballester, clarinetist with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, helps The Philharmonic finish up the season in grand style, celebrating the ancient and beautiful musical links between France, America, and Spain.  Along with his matchless renditions of Debussy's Rhapsody and the jazzy Clarinet Concerto of Aaron Copland, we'll close the season with the so-called "Spanish Symphony" of the Basque genius Maurice Ravel: his Alaborda del Gracioso, "Habanera" from Rhapsodie Espangnole, the tender Pavane for a Dead Infanta, and of course -- the Bolero!!!  Join us for a truly grande finale.

Concert to be held at Carroll University’s Shattuck Auditorium 218 North East Avenue, Waukesha.  Tickets for the event begin at $25.  Season subscriptions begin at $112.  Discounted rates available.
