Explosion Blows Hole in Trailer

Waukesha police responded to the 1500 block of Summit Ave. at 6 p.m. Wednesday after a report that a loud explosion was heard and a hole was burned into the side of a residential trailer.

According to police, the resident was in her living room when she heard the explosion, only to go outside and see that there was a hole in the trailer.

The resident believed it may have been due to a fireworks blast, however there was no evidence of any debris. The property owner speculated it could have been from power lines.

Purse Stolen at Woodman's

A woman called police just after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, reporting that her purse had been stolen right off her cart as she was shopping for groceries at Woodman's. The store reportedly had video footage of the incident.
