'Extremely' Intoxicated Man Struggles With Police

An unresponsive man who was later caught urinating in public had more trouble once he decided to fight police.

WAUKESHA, WI — An unresponsive man who was later caught urinating in public had more trouble once he decided to fight police.

Officers responded to the 100 block of Delafield on on July 18 at just before 10 p.m. for a report of a “Man Down.”

Officers located the man who was extremely intoxicated and unresponsive.

The man matched the description called in a few minutes earlier as a male urinating in public.

According to police, Waukesha Fire arrived to treat the male but he attempted to walk away.

Officers attempted to detain him on scene but he resisted the officers efforts and refused to be cooperative.

He continued to resist and officers were forced to deploy the Taser which was ineffective.

He was eventually placed in handcuffs and treated for intoxication and a bloody nose. He was eventually transported to Waukesha County Jail for one count of Resisting Arrest.
