Family Dollar Robber Fled Without Cash: Report

WAUKESHA, WI -- Waukesha police responded to the Family Dollar on 139 E. Broadway on a report of a robbery in progress just after 8 p.m. on Oct. 12.

Waukesha police told Patch that a man tried to reach into the cash drawer at the Family Dollar. He didn't get any money, did not display any weapons, and later fled the scene, police said.

Police say the suspect is about 40 years old, and was wearing a dark blue jacket, tan pants and was wearing glasses. The suspect is currently at large, according to reports.
