A fight over a Cleveland Cavaliers bet involved one man ripping the windshield wipers off his car. A package of golf clubs was stolen.
Fight Brewed over Cavaliers Bet
Four Waukesha city police squads were dispatched to a fight between two men near the intersection of Hinman Ave. and Jackson Ct. just before 4 p.m. Tuesday on a report that the two became embroiled in a dispute over a bet on the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA basketball team.
According to the report, when police caught up with one of the two combatants, he told officers additionally that he would not identify the other person he was fighting with, but said the man pulled off the windshield wipers on his car.
The other man reportedly got into a gray SUV parked on Hinman before leaving the area.

Package of Golf Clubs Stolen on Grant St.
A concerned citizen called Waukesha police just after 11 a.m. Tuesday on a report that two men and one woman stole a package off the front porch of a house on the 1200 block of Grant St. only to leave in an older teal Chevrolet.
According to the report, the package contained golf clubs. The property owner will be contacted regarding filing a formal complaint, if desired.
