Fire Closed Waukesha Skate Park: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — The skate park at Horeb Park was closed for a period of two days according to authorities after one of the ramps was set on fire.

Police responded to the park on 330 Spring St. just after 3:30 p.m. on April 29 on a report of a fire. When police arrived, they determined it was a small fire on the ramp at the back of the complex.

Waukesha police told Patch that a youngster started the small fire, and that discipline was handled on a parental level.

The skate park was closed down until the ramp could be fixed, police said.
