Fire Reported on Sunnyside Drive

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police and fire responded to a home on the 2100 block of Sunnyside Drive just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of a fire.

Authorities say there was a fire in the attic, and no injuries. Police told Waukesha Patch that the fire is still under investigation, but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.

According to police reports, the fire call came in at 10:26 p.m. Approximately seven minutes later, authorities reported that everyone was out of the house. Reports stated that the homeowner went up to the attic and saw some small flames, but no flames appeared on the house's exterior at the time of the fire call.

Police reports indicated that the fire was under control just before 11 p.m.
