Fired Waukesha Walmart Employee Tried Taking Own Life: Police
Waukesha police responded to Walmart on a report of employee theft, only to later respond to the former employee's house later that evening.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police are reporting that a Walmart employee who was fired Thursday for employee theft tried taking her own life later that day.
According to Waukesha police, officers were dispatched to the Waukesha Walmart just after 5 p.m. on a report that Walmart security had a female employee in custody for apparent theft. Police were informed that a report and surveillance video was prepared for their review.
The woman was taken into custody and later released.

Police reports indicated that the woman, who will not be named due to the sensitive nature of police call at her home, reportedly tried taking her life later that evening. Police responded to her residence on Greenmeadow Drive just after 9 p.m. on a report that she tried to overdose on over-the-counter sleep aids.
Reports indicated that a crisis worker from the Waukesha County Mental Health facility arrived at the home, and instructed the woman to seek voluntary treatment pertaining to her mental health. She was given a ride to Waukesha Memorial Hospital for treatment.
