Firefighter Punched In Face Tried To Intervene In Fight: Report

According to reports, the firefighter saw a verbal argument occurring in the parking lot between four to five men next to a black truck.

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha police responded to the Waukesha Walmart just after 11 p.m. on April 7 on a report of a fight.

According to police reports, a Town of Waukesha firefighter arrived at the Waukesha police department bleeding profusely from his face on the night of April 7, stating that he was battered by an unknown suspect at the Walmart parking lot earlier that evening.

According to reports, the firefighter saw a verbal argument occurring in the parking lot between four to five men next to a black pickup truck. When he approached the group, he was punched in the face by a white man wearing a black hoodie, which caused a nosebleed.

The firefighter told police he did not want to make a formal criminal complaint. When police made a check of the Walmart parking lot, the suspects were gone, according to the report.
