Food Truck Seeking Permission To Open on Moreland Blvd.

According to meeting documents, he would like to operate his truck from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday.

WAUKESHA, WI — The owner of a food truck is hoping to serve from a spot along E. Moreland Blvd. if he gets city approval.

Alejandro Ramos of Delavan, Wis. is hoping to operate a food truck in the parking lot of 932 E. Moreland Blvd. on the site of a vacant building.

According to meeting documents, he would like to operate his truck from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Sunday. The truck would be moved each day, and would not be parked on-site overnight.

According to Waukesha Plan Commission documents, city staff asked that Ramos not operate his power generator during the early morning hours due to the excessive noise. Ramos told city officials that he received permission from the building's owner to use electricity from the vacant building.
