Former Green Bay Packer Ahman Green Arrested

Former Green Bay Packers running back Ahman Green has been arrested on allegations of Child Abuse early Monday morning, according to a Green Bay Press Gazette report.

Green is reportedly the subject of a Brown County Sheriff's office investigation into child abuse claims made against Green, 40.

No further details regarding the investigation have been released by sheriff's officials.

According to court documents online, formal charges have not been announced. Any charge recommendations against Green will be forwarded from the sheriff's office to the district attorney for consideration.

Green played for the Packers from 2000-2006, 2009 and is the team's all-time leading rusher. He was decorated as a four-time Pro Bowl selection, NFC Offensive Player of the Year in 2003 and is a player in the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame.
