Garbage Truck Felled By Hit-And-Run Driver: Report
According to police reports, WE Energies responded and cleared the live wires which were in the road.

WAUKESHA, WI -- A hit-and-run accident near Macarthur Rd. and W. St. Paul Ave. led to more trouble for a city garbage truck about an hour later, according to police.
According to police reports, a street sign was hit by the driver of a silver minivan near the intersection of Jennifer Lane and E. Moreland Blvd. just after noon on Sep. 11.
An hour later, a passing garbage truck struck power lines, which were hanging low as a result of the original crash. Police reported the crash led to toppling the utility pole and sending the low power lines to the ground.

According to police reports, WE Energies responded and cleared the live wires which were in the road. There were no injuries reported as a result of the second accident.
Police in Waukesha are continuing to investigate the original hit-and-run crash.
