Gas Leak Hospitalizes Several People At Spinweld: Report

PEWAUKEE, WI — Several people were evacuated from a Pewaukee welding job shop after an apparent gas leak.

According to the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, deputies responded to Spinweld, Inc., just after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on a report of several employees complaining of headaches. The pewaukee Fire Department, WE Energies and OSHA also responded to the scene.

Investigators determined that the cause of the headaches was an apparent gas leak. The affected employees were transported to the hospital by Fire Department personnel. The incident has been turned over to investigators , who continue to look into the case.
