Girl Injured By Waukesha Parade Float: Police

According to Waukesha police reports, a 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries Sunday during the parade.

WAUKESHA, WI — Festivities at Sunday's Waukesha Christmas parade were capped by the arrival of emergency crews after a parade spectator was injured by a float.

According to Waukesha police reports, a 13-year-old girl suffered minor injuries after a parade float ran over her foot at about 5 p.m. near the intersection of Maple Ave. and W. Main St.

Police reports indicated that the girl was treated on-scene. There was no indication in police reports whether the driver of the float was cited for any moving violations.
