Gov. Scott Walker Budget Address Live Stream Video

MADISON, WI — Gov. Scott Walker is set to deliver his 2017 Wisconsin budget address Tuesday from the State Capitol building in Madison. Some of the provisions in this budget have already been partially revealed to the public, such as Walker's welfare reform proposal, public school funding, college tuition reductions, rural school aid among others.

But while some provisions have already been gently rolled out to the public, Walker's budget address leaves ample room for a few surprises that the Joint Finance Committee will undoubtedly tackle this spring.

Key Provisions Expected to be Covered by Walker:

• 5% college tuition reduction, increases overall state commitment to uw system budget by more than $100 million over biennium
• Providing increasedsupport for county children and family aids
• Elimination of long-term support waiting list for children with developmental, physical disabilities
• $649 million boost under governor walker's proposed budget for public education
• Rural k-12 schools get funding increase
• Strengthening families component of "Wisconsin works for everyone"
