WAUKESHA — The Humane Animal Welfare Society of Waukesha has been named a finalist in the Waterstone Bank's 95th Anniversary video contest. If they win, they could get a $50,000 prize.

10 area nonprofits made promotional videos and voting is now open to pick the best one.

“We are absolutely thrilled to have been named a finalist in this competition – and are excited at the possibility of winning the $50,000 donation from WaterStone Bank,” said HAWS’ Executive Director, Lynn Olenik. “HAWS’ volunteers and staff did an amazing job with our video. They truly captured our work and the spirit of HAWS – and what the $50,000 donation would mean for our organization.”

WaterStone Bank is celebrating 95 years giving back to the communities we serve by recognizing local nonprofits that are making communities a better place to live. Watch the videos and vote for your favorite. You may vote once per day. Voting closes at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 31. The winner and runners-up will be announced on June 8.
Online voting for the winner of the $50,000 donation runs through 11:59 p.m. on May 31st.
