Help Waukesha Sheriff Raise Money For Displaced Texas Deputies
Help the Waukesha County Sheriff raise money to help Texas deputies and their families who were displaced by Hurricane Harvey.

WAUKESHA, WI — The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department is joining the Badger State Sheriffs’ Association and other Wisconsin Sheriff’s Offices to raise money for the Sheriffs’ Adopting Sheriffs’ Program to help Texas Sheriff’s Office deputies, employees and their families affected by Hurricane Harvey. The Waukesha Deputy Sheriff's Organization has agreed to match donations up to $1,000.
The statewide goal is provide around $10,000 for each person in need of assistance. The Texas Sheriff's Association estimates that hundreds of people in the law enforcement community were affected.
All donated funds will go directly to assist Texas sheriff’s offices deputies, employees and their families rebuild. The Texas State Sheriff’s Association will disperse donations based on need, beginning with smaller departments that have fewer resources.
