Officers reported that the mother of the infant was clearly under the influence of substance as was her female friend. When police asked what the situation was, both women admitted to smoking the synthetic marijuana K2 and were suffering from the side effects of the drug, police reported to Waukesha Patch.
The fire department evaluated both women, and neither required transportation to the hospital. Both remain on-scene. The mother of the infant was taken into custody for possession of K2 and child neglect. Her friend was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia and an open warrant with the Waukesha County Sheriff's office, police reported.
