Hit-And-Run Driver Knocks Waukesha Woman Into Tree: Family Says
The family of a Waukesha woman is hoping to locate the other driver in a hit-and-run accident late Friday.

WAUKESHA, WI — The family of a Waukesha woman is hoping to locate the other driver in a hit-and-run accident late Friday after the accident left the woman with serious injuries to her head and neck.
The family of Donnaliza Monyelle said that Monyelle was driving west on Wisconsin Ave. Friday around 9 p.m. when the driver of another vehicle reportedly ran a stop sign on Maple and struck her car, slamming her into a tree.
The family said that airbags did not deploy, and she blacked out while also sustaining injuries to her head and neck.

According to police reports, a white male in his early to mid-30s walked away from the crash and headed eastbound toward downtown. Officers checked the area, including downtown bars in search of the other driver, however officers were not able to locate him.
Reports also indicated that officers found a conceal-carry firearm and loaded magazines in the suspect's vehicle. An address check of the suspect led to an address in Oconomowoc, however the man was not located that evening.
