MILWAUKEE - It seems everyone’s a photographer these days.

Cell phones capture amazing images. True DSLR cameras render detail that almost looks surreal.

We got to thinking. Why not share the pictures we receive, and see elsewhere, with you?

This week's image comes from a loyal Patch.com reader in the Racine, Wis. area of a beautiful rhotodendron. What makes this photo special, the reader said, is because the rhotodendron blooms once a year. And while it may be spectacular a sight, the blooms are short-lived and last barely more than a week.
