WAUKESHA, WI — Police in Waukesha say a woman that was involved in a fight and arrested called police after she was released after someone caused damage to her apartment while she was behind bars. Waukesha police responded to the intersection of Hinman Ave. and Jackson Ct. just after 9 a.m. on May 17 on a report of a fight. According to police reports, a group of women was reportedly fighting just outside the apartment. One person was taken into custody. Police were back in the area on Hinman just after 3 a.m. The person who was involved in the fight earlier called police regarding a second incident, according to reports. Waukesha police told Patch that the woman called the police, saying that while she was incarcerated at the Waukesha County Jail between someone entered her residence and poured bleach throughout the entire apartment causing over $2,500 of damage to the unit.
